Gaotai Minju, ancient homes or houses, the epitome of Uyghur folk residences inside Kashgar old city at the highest point of the terrain. The old slum-like mud houses (Koziyabixi) of a 2000-year history were built on 10 hectares of land by ancestors of its current Uygur inhabitants.
