Sino-Russian Concert Lights up in Lanzhou Gansu

A Sino-Russian concert lit up Lanzhou, capital of Northwest China's Gansu province on the evening of Aug 6, with several famous Chinese and Russian artists performing.

Artists included Russian band Bis Quit, Polish singer Katagina Mackevich, Chinese pipa player Mu Yang and pianist Chen Ziyi.

The concert provided an audio-visual feast for the audience with 18 pieces of Chinese and Russian classical and folk music. Jasmine Flower, a classic Chinese song was presented before the curtain went down, followed by waves of applause.

The concert is one of the activities of the 3rd Silk Road Great Wall International Music Cultural Festival which got a dozen bands to perform, and many Chinese and world-renowned musicians showed up in Gansu from August to September.
