The Parthian Fortresses of Nisa is located near the modern Bagir village, 18 km southwest of Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. It is an ancient site consists of two tells, Old Nisa and New Nisa, indicating from the mid 3rd century BC to the 3rd century AD.
